We made it home …

We arrived home early on Friday 5 August. Our housesitter Jacqui met us at the front door, and so did Sammy and Bella. They’ve been so well looked after while we were away that they probably didn’t even notice we were gone!

We found the travelling quite tiring this time but once again, we have seen some amazing things and met some wonderful people. When we get home and talk about our trip, it is always the people we’ve met along the way who have made it so memorable.  Thanks to everyone who has followed our blog, we sincerely hope you enjoyed coming along with us.

Getting Past The First Post

Well, those of you who know us well will realise that we nearly didn't make it to the first post, but with a bit of teeth gritting and determination, here we go again. This time we are going to the UK for 2 weeks, visitng Cambridge, The Cotswolds and Leeds where Lindsay is attending another Medieval Conference. What do they talk about at those things I wonder. Then we're off to France - Brittany, Normandy and back to the Loire region all in 2 weeks. On the way home we're stopping in L.A. for a few days because we enjoyed it so much last time.
