Play Your Cards Right

During our stay in Cambridge we decided to take our cards and go our separate ways

008 Linz proudly marched off with his newly issued access card to the Cambridge University Library – a real privilege and a chance to do some serious research
013 Di marched off with a battered credit card to while away the day in the Cambridge shopping area and do some research of her own
010 The most extraordinary sight in a Cambridge shopping mall was people having a ‘Fish Spa’.  The fish are Garra Rufa and they nibble all the dead skin away and if you can endure the tickling, you end up with nice soft footsies.  Not sure if those fish are lucky or just plain exploited.

A Punt On The Cam

On Italian street corners they try to sell you an umbrella;  in Kowloon its a Prada lookalike, but in Cambridge there are scores of students on summer break trying to sell you a Punt On The River Cam – a must have, apparently.  We preferred to walk and look more closely at things, but plenty of people parted with their pounds for 45 minutes entertainment …

Cambridge
